Harris (Filmmaker): One of the most intriguing aspects of the movie is the palpable ambivalence we feel toward many of the characters’ choices – no one is necessarily right in this situation from a moral standpoint. Was that a starting point for you, to make something of such moral ambiguity, and if not, what was?
